We offer a core consultation package which includes SLT working with DRM to create a bespoke action plan that will help fully integrate LGBT+ content into the school community. The work will cover policies, curriculum, visibility and ensure all staff feel confident recognising and tackling homophobic, biphobic & transphobic (HBT) bullying, as well as assisting your school to meet the new Ofsted framework and RSE guidance.
Core Offer (3 hours of support)
- Completion of a school self-assessment: this simple document asks you to rate yourself against criteria around HBT bullying & language, LGBT+ content within the curriculum, confidence of staff delivering LGBT+ content, policies etc. This information allows us to highlight priorities for the school.
- Bespoke school action plan: we will create this useful tool to ensure you have everything you need to embed LGBT+ inclusion in your school over the course of 18-24 months.
- Face to face consultation: allowing us to discuss the documents above, answer any questions and provide a resource bundle to support you in implementing next steps.
Add-on (additional 2 hours of support)
This add-on includes an in depth policy review and collation of data from surveys sent out to students, staff, governors and parents/carers. These surveys, provided by DRM, will help us assess your school's current position on LGBT+ inclusion from a range of different view points. This allows us to further personalise our approach.
