#DRMcarnival - October 29th 2014
On Wednesday 29th of October we'll once again be taking over Café de Paris in London's Leicester Square for a night of frivolity, fun and frolics. With DRM Patron and broadcaster Clare Balding presiding over the evening, this year's Carnival promises to raise the bar even higher for what has quickly become one of London's 'must do' events in late October.
Providing the main entertainment of the evening will be the one and only Heather Small of M People. We are sure that all our guests will "Testify" that she ensures all music lovers "One Night in Heaven".
Grey Goose vodka will be in charge of drinks so expect some extremely well-crafted cocktails, while a vast selection of canapés and bowl food will be on offer to soak them up!
In our Live and Silent auctions, we'll be putting a fabulous range of prizes under the hammer. And, for art lovers, we have lots from talented artists Maggi Hambling, James Barrett, Jonathan Yeo, Andrew Salgado, Dee Stanford and Jacob Love, as well a signed lithograph by Salvador Dali.
By attending Carnival, you will of course be supporting our vital work in UK schools. To date you've helped us reach nearly 11,500 students from Edinburgh to Dorset. We've broken down misconceptions and we've challenged misuse of language. Of evaluated students, 94% say they will use the word 'gay' less in a derogatory way after our workshops.
So what are you waiting for? Buy your Carnival ticket today to have the night of your life - and to help us reach even more young people with our message of diversity.
