Diversity Role Models seeks to end bullying in UK schools by providing opportunities for young people to embrace difference. We stop bullying before it happens by educating staff, parents and young people about difference, challenging stereotypes and addressing the misuse of language. Our current workshops feature positive LGBT role models who speak directly to young people about their experiences. Our ambition is to develop wider inclusion opportunities and provide role models across all of the strands.
Founded in 2011, we are a highly ambitious charity, whose reach has grown significantly in recent years. So far we have worked with over 260 schools and reached over 58,000 young people across the UK.
This is an outstanding opportunity to have a profound impact on a small charity with big aspirations whilst also developing your skills and knowledge. We are now looking for an ambitious Fundraising Assistant to support our Fundraising Manager, to generate income to ensure we can continue to effectively tackle bullying and create equal opportunities for all young people.
Please see the job description for full details of the post. If you wish to have an informal discussion about the opportunity, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The dealine for applications is Friday 21 April 2017. Interviews will be held w/c Monday 24 April 2017.
