Claire Harvey to transition from Chief Executive to board member
Diversity Role Models (“DRM”) is delighted to announce the appointment of Adam McCann as its Chief Executive.
Adam has been connected to DRM over the last six years and joined DRM staff team three months ago as Deputy CEO. He previously worked in the legal industry as a diversity and inclusion professional responsible for the development and execution of a D&I strategy with a focus on intersectionality. Prior to that he worked in the banking and hospitality industries in the United States. He is also a board member for The P3 Network, a charity created to support non-traditional and underrepresented families.
Claire Harvey will transition from Chief Executive to board member to enable her to take on a new challenge building a consultancy business, and to steer her GB Sitting Volleyball team in their preparation for their 2020 Tokyo Paralympics campaign.
Claire commented “I feel so privileged to have been able to take DRM through the changes needed to put us in the position we are in now, and now to remain a key part in ensuring we continue to reach the potential I know we can.”
On his appointment, Adam McCann commented, “We are all different and deserve to have our differences celebrated. No young person should experience barriers to success because of who they are. Education is the foundation for creating a more inclusive world and I am honoured to work alongside a wonderful team, board and volunteers to continue to increase our impact.”
