Join us at the Diversity Role Models Spectacular event on 10th November 2017 and help us celebrate our success in preventing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying.
You will be part of a spectacular star studded evening full of glitz, glamour and sparkle - as you would expect.
- Live cabaret from up and coming artists
- Amazing items on auction
- DJ and dancing
- A three course buffet meal and a cash bar all night
Funds raised on the night will support DRM’s vital work in schools, preventing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying and this year our target is to raise £50,000, which is enough to deliver our work to over 9,000 more young people.
With your support, we can create a world where all young people feel free to be their true selves, whatever their sexuality or gender identity.
Tickets start at just £50, which includes a 3 course buffet meal, so don’t delay get your tickets before they are all gone!
At the Gala Dinner we'll be having a live and silent auction with a brilliant array of lots. Below are a sample of some of the lots we had for our 2016 Gala Dinner.
Dee Stanford - Solidarity
Originally from the UK, Dee Stanford has spent most of her adult life living in Cape Town where she worked on her sculptures and paintings, learning primitive methods and blending them with a more Western approach. Her award-winning sphere series allows different continuous states through either time or momentum or a static snapshot of the artist's observations of world problems. With only one sphere produced every year, each of these are highly sought after.
Solidarity is the 2017 sphere and uses silver as a material for the first time ever.

Charming Baker - Being Yourself is Easier When You’re Not Being Someone Else
Charming Baker left school at 16 and worked various manual jobs and in 1985, having gone back to college, he was accepted onto a course at the prestigious Central Saint Martin’s, where he later returned as a lecturer. After graduating, Baker worked for many years as a commercial artist as well as developing his personal work.
Although Baker has produced sculptural pieces in a wide and varied choice of materials as well as many large-scale and detailed drawings, he remains primarily a painter with an interest in narrative and an understanding of the tradition of painting. Known to purposefully damage his work by drilling, cutting and even shooting it, Baker intentionally puts in to question the preciousness of art and the definition of its beauty, adding to the emotive charge of the work he produces.
