NEW FREE EDI CLASSROOM RESOURCES: The Diversity Role Models Upstander Animation Series

At Diversity Role Models we understand the importance of building young people’s confidence to be inclusive, compassionate ‘allies against unkindness’, which is why we developed the Upstander Animation Series – A selection of animated videos designed to be used by Primary School teachers and educators in classrooms. The Upstander Animation Series serves as a dynamic and creative resource, co-created with educators and experts, fostering impactful discussions in both classrooms and home environments.

Pause, Rethink, Rewind, Be Kind

Prompting young people to ‘Pause, Rethink, Rewind, Be Kind’, each animated short video comes with an accompanying resource pack, filled with top tips and exciting lesson ideas to encourage young viewers to be an ‘ally against unkindness.’

We recommend teachers speak to their SLT or PSHE lead to discuss how these resources fit into a whole school approach to anti-bullying, RSHE and engaging the wider school community on promoting inclusive school values.
